Coffee vape pen IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Coffee in San José: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Coffee vape pen here
Coffee in San José reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee vape pen really costs in San José
Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested coffee in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.95 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in San José survives.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does coffee in a vape pen last?
In San José we measured 6 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
