Coffee RDA IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Coffee in San José: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What coffee costs in San José
Coffee in San José reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee RDA really costs in San José
If you are looking at coffee in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested coffee in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in San José survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
