Coffee mesh tank IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Coffee in San José: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Coffee mesh tank here
Coffee in San José reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A coffee mesh tank from the flat-rate options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.16 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: coffee in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
