Coconut starter kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Coconut in San José: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
If you are looking at coconut in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A coconut starter kit from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.89 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: coconut in San José works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut starter kit really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested coconut in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
