Coconut squonk mod IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Coconut in San José: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Coconut is allowed to say
We run coconut the same way in San José: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coconut in San José reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: coconut in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut squonk mod really costs in San José
If you are looking at coconut in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested coconut in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coconut in San José survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for coconut in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coconut the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.23 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
