Coconut pod kit IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Coconut in San José: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with coconut in Costa Rica
Coconut pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at coconut in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut pod kit really costs in San José
Coconut in San José reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested coconut in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should coconut start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.06 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does coconut in a pod kit last?
In San José we measured 9 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
