Coconut in San José: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a mesh tank for coconut
Coconut mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A coconut mesh tank from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.69 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested coconut in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.69 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
