Coconut mesh tank IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Coconut in San José: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What coconut costs in San José
Coconut sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on coconut: 22 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut mesh tank really costs in San José
If you are looking at coconut in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested coconut in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.82 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should coconut start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡1.82 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does coconut in a mesh tank last?
In San José we measured 8 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
