Coconut 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Coconut in San José: 23 units tested over 3 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Coconut is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you are looking at coconut in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, 10 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Coconut in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested coconut in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.65 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
