Citrus sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Citrus in San José: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
We run citrus the same way in San José: same sub-ohm kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
A citrus sub-ohm kit from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
