Citrus refill pack IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Citrus in San José: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Citrus refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus refill pack really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested citrus in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for citrus in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
