Citrus pod kit IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Citrus in San José: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a pod kit for citrus
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
A citrus pod kit from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.26 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in San José
The honest read on citrus: 22 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
