Citrus nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Citrus in San José: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.76 per 10 ml.
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: citrus in San José works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
We run citrus the same way in San José: same nicotine salt bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.76 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does citrus in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In San José we measured 7 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
