Citrus nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the order shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Citrus in San José: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Costa Rica
A citrus nicotine salt bottle from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.29 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested citrus in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.29 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
