Citrus 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Citrus in San José: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good 60 ml bottle from a repack
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.12 per 10 ml.
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: citrus in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on citrus: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.12 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in San José survives.
