Citrus 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Citrus in San José: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Citrus 60 ml bottle here
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Citrus in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, 60 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
Citrus in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested citrus in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.55 per 10 ml.
