Citrus 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Citrus in San José: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Costa Rica
We run citrus the same way in San José: same 10 ml bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A citrus 10 ml bottle from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.82 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on citrus: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.82 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in San José survives.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 10 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.82 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
