Cherry RDA IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Cherry in San José: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
The honest read on cherry: 18 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Cherry RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry RDA really costs in San José
We run cherry the same way in San José: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cherry in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.47 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for cherry in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.47 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
