Cherry in San José: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.09 per 10 ml.
Cherry prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry prefilled pod really costs in San José

How we tested cherry in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
