Cherry disposable vape IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Cherry in San José: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Cherry is allowed to say
We run cherry the same way in San José: same disposable vape, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: cherry in San José works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry disposable vape really costs in San José
Cherry disposable vape reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cherry in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.25 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Costa Rica |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | ₡64 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ₡3.25 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does cherry in a disposable vape last?
In San José we measured 9 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
