Cherry 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Cherry in San José: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cherry habit
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Cherry in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: cherry in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
A cherry 60 ml bottle from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.13 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.13 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
