Caramel disposable vape IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Caramel in San José: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good disposable vape from a repack
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.59 per 10 ml.
Caramel disposable vape reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: caramel in San José works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel disposable vape really costs in San José
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a disposable vape running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested caramel in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for disposable vape in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
