Caramel disposable vape IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Caramel in San José: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
Caramel disposable vape reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A caramel disposable vape from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.94 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, disposable vape, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel disposable vape really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested caramel in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.94 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a disposable vape that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.94 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
