How we tested Caramel 60 ml bottle here
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.33 per 10 ml.
A caramel 60 ml bottle from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.33 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, 60 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested caramel in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.33 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
