Caramel 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Caramel in San José: 17 units tested over 3 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with caramel in Costa Rica
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A caramel 30 ml shortfill from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested caramel in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.75 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
