Caramel 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Caramel in San José: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
A caramel 10 ml bottle from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.34 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on caramel: 8 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, 10 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Caramel in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested caramel in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
