Home / Candy RDA IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist

How to tell a good RDA from a repack

We run candy the same way in San José: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a candy RDA really costs in San José

Candy RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

How we tested candy in a RDA

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.

• Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Spare parts availability for RDA in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.

Where candy goes wrong

• Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
• Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Treating the advertised ₡61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.93 per 10 ml.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
