Candy nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Candy in San José: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with candy in Costa Rica
Candy nicotine salt bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Candy in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: candy in San José works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Candy nicotine salt bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested candy in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.94 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does candy in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In San José we measured 2 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
