Candy mesh tank IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Candy in San José: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Candy mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at candy in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: candy in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy mesh tank really costs in San José
Candy mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested candy in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.98 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
