Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version

Blueraspberry in San José reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.

Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.

The short version: blueraspberry in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a blueraspberry squonk mod really costs in San José

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

How we tested blueraspberry in a squonk mod

1. Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
• Batch code and production date, so a blueraspberry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.

Where blueraspberry goes wrong

• Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blueraspberry tastes flat after two days.
• Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
• Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

The rules that apply here

Packaging for blueraspberry in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
