Blueraspberry pod kit IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Blueraspberry in San José: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a pod kit for blueraspberry
We run blueraspberry the same way in San José: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Blueraspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.65 per 10 ml.
The short version: blueraspberry in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blueraspberry pod kit really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested blueraspberry in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blueraspberry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blueraspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.65 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does blueraspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the blueraspberry blend itself harsh.
