Blackcurrant sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Blackcurrant in San José: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Blackcurrant sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
A blackcurrant sub-ohm kit from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.46 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit last?
In San José we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
