Blackcurrant RDA IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in San José: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant RDA really costs in San José
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested blackcurrant in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
