Blackcurrant e-liquid bundle IQOS in San José: the price shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Blackcurrant in San José: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Blackcurrant is allowed to say
A blackcurrant e-liquid bundle from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run blackcurrant the same way in San José: same e-liquid bundle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: blackcurrant in San José works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a e-liquid bundle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested blackcurrant in a e-liquid bundle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for e-liquid bundle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a e-liquid bundle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a e-liquid bundle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.05 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.05 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
