What a berry vape pen really costs in San José
A berry vape pen from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested berry in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where berry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.71 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How long does berry in a vape pen last?
In San José we measured 6 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On berry the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.71 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
