Berry RDA IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Berry in San José: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A berry RDA from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.22 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry RDA really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested berry in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where berry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
