Berry prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Berry in San José: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with berry in Costa Rica
Berry prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A berry prefilled pod from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.62 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry prefilled pod really costs in San José
Berry in San José reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested berry in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every berry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where berry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.62 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long berry in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
