Home / Apple starter kit IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist

Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window

We run apple the same way in San José: same starter kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

Apple starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested apple in a starter kit

1. Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.

• Spare parts availability for starter kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Costa Rica.

Where apple goes wrong

• Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Treating the advertised ₡38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.01 per 10 ml.
• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
