Apple prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Apple in San José: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at apple in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Apple prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: apple in San José works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple prefilled pod really costs in San José
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.95 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
