Apple pen device IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Apple in San José: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with apple in Costa Rica
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.78 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple pen device really costs in San José
Apple pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested apple in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
