How we tested Apple mesh tank here
We run apple the same way in San José: same mesh tank, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Apple mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested apple in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.59 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
