Apple e-liquid bundle IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Apple in San José: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Apple is allowed to say
We run apple the same way in San José: same e-liquid bundle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a e-liquid bundle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: apple in San José works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested apple in a e-liquid bundle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where apple goes wrong
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.99 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
