Home / Apple cartomizer IQOS in San José: the best shortlist

Choosing a cartomizer for apple

A apple cartomizer from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.17 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

We run apple the same way in San José: same cartomizer, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a apple cartomizer really costs in San José

If you are looking at apple in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.

How we tested apple in a cartomizer

1. Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.

• Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Costa Rica.

Where apple goes wrong

• Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
• Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

The rules that apply here

Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
