Apple 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Apple in San José: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a 100 ml bottle for apple
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a apple 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on apple: 13 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where apple goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡3.49 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
