Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
If you are looking at apple in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
If you are looking at apple in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested apple in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where apple goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.49 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
